Marist College Kogarah

Between 1999 and 2003 the school had a small website of about 20 pages which was designed and maintained by some staff and students. The design was inconsistent and management was cumbersome. In 2003 it had about 400 hits per month. It was becoming obvious that the school website in the future would become the main information source for the school community. Therefore in 2004 we decided to fully revamp the site. We wanted a site that could be easily updated and managed.

Conexium It Solutions were chosen to do the re-design. The website makes use of a Content Management System using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

The extremely user-friendly Conexium design has allowed us to revolutionise delivery of information to the school community. We have been told on a number of occasions by a range of people that our website is the most detailed school site that they have ever used. This simply would not have been possible without the Conexium design.

As of April 2008 it has over 1200 pages of information and receives between 3000 and 4000 unique hits per month. It has also saved a great deal of money for the school. The following example shows this. The school in 2003 printed 1200 full colour newsletters per week. Now that the newsletter is placed on the website only 100 copies are printed. This simple website feature alone has saved the school $20,000 in printing costs per year.

In conclusion the website has been a success in every way, it has been most effective in its intended role as the official interface between the school and the wider community. Another unexpected benefit is its cost effectiveness in cutting down various document printing costs. Conexium IT Solutions has more than fulfilled all design specifications that we gave to them.

St Mary's Cathedral College

In 2008, after a number of years of stop-gap websites, St Mary's Cathedral College contacted Peter of Conexium to discuss the creation of a new site.

Following a number of meetings during which we specified what sort of site we wanted, Conexium began designing a site in accordance with our instructions, a key component of which was the need for a site that could be easily managed. Throughout this process Peter's pleasant manner and his professionalism impressed everyone at the College.

Since the website launch in early 2009 the feedback from parents, staff, students and the broader community has been uniformly positive. Conexium has designed a site that is functional, stylish, and flexible enough to meet the challenges of a modern school.

I have no hesitation in recommending Peter and Conexium.
